Slippin, sinkin...further down thru the shit in my head. Impatience is waning. Mutating into contempt. Retreating is pleasing... tired of trying to pretend that I'm not enjoying every second wasting the minutes away. Content to never see your face on operation overstay. Impatience ain't waning for those who want a way out. Yet still complacent with their preferred mouths... hanging on to every single word while the walls are closing. Just one trigger away to end the whining and moaning. As if your head ain't by the day already exploding. Hissy fit, wondering what's the delay on operation overstay.

Sheila's done everything, now she's done. Took it too far impressing no one. All she wanted was to prove herself - now she sits in an urn on a dusty shelf cause Sheila's done everything, but couldn't quit. Told that "gateway drugs" was just a myth. So she kept on trying to prove herself, now she has no voice to scream for help. From a little dime bag to a needle and a belt.. Sheila found the bottom, but she lies with noone else. Sheila's done everything now she's done. Chose premature death over living as a bum. She got no more parties to attend, all her bragging rights came to an end. From a bleeding nose to a visible vein, next stop "slam city" for Sheila on the midnight train.

Up at six, was feeling kinda pissed... Took a pen and paper and I made up a list, yeah.... of anyone who ever did me wrong. Now I'm seeing red and my head's totally gone. Cause I got vengeance on my mind. Heard you were spreading B.S. - now I'm on a mission searching for your address with violent fantasies making me insane. 2x4 overhead, crushing through your brain. Cause I got vengeance on my mind.

Ran off to the KGB - found a heart for the enemy. Now it ain't a mystery, she ain't what she used to be.. she ain't ever had a heart for me. How I could I not realize her allegiance was a lie? Joined ranks on the other side - blew their secrets open a wide. A price paid to never doubt a heartless dame with a big mouth. How could they not understand her loyalty was a sham? Now they're unaffiliated.

Dead at 25 01:26
Dead at 25, took a nose dive and slammed into the pavement of reality. Thought I could survive, but when I arrived I quickly realized it wasn't for me. But still goin through the motions like an ethereal being. Just an empty vessel floating in a world of enmity. But still takin in the show... like a free movie. Only thing I really know is that the world ain't for me.

REVIEW FROM GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME:
thatsgoodenoughforme.com/8004/
"TJ Cabot puts out a punk record that could’ve existed at any point in the past 45 years.
TJ Cabot (who previously released stuff with a band under the name TJ Cabot & Thee Artificial Rejects) oozes the essence of punk rock. A lot of his stuff is going to remind you of Ramones, but the recording quality is way less polished, sounding even more raw and primitive (not unexpected considering the recording is done straight into Audacity on a laptop with no external microphones).
DICK CHARLES EP is Cabot’s latest release and his first under just his name. It rolls out 7 mostly good and fun songs with a bunch of hooky guitars and some melodic vocals that drip with attitude. Some of my favorites sound like Ramones rips. Opener “I Don’t Wanna Get Involved With You” has some cool no fuss vocals and some great hooks and it’s going to remind people of “I Don’t Wanna Walk Around With You”. “Green Tartan Beret” is a buzzing number with lots of pace, a cool rhythmic hook on the chorus, and Ramones-style spell outs. I have no idea what they’re going on about on this one, but it’s pretty awesome. And “Let’s Get Unaffiliated” sounds like you’re listening in through a wall on a Ramones practice with some overpowering guitars and cool vocal hooks. And the melody leading into the chorus reminds me a bit of “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend”.

A couple of others don’t abandon Ramones vibes, but find a bit of space. The wonderfully titled “Sheila’s Done Everything (Now She’s Done)” is a little slower and the guitars have a little more buzz than some of the other songs. I think I’m hearing some sort of surf guitar accents in parts, but nothing too complicated. And they throw in handclaps for good measure. And “Vengeance On My Mind” is a really fast pop burner with a cool earworm guitar lead and a buzzing hooky chorus that’ll get you singing along before your first listen wraps up.

TJ Cabot has a good thing going. DICK CHARLES EP is loaded with music with fangs, the kind of stuff that’ll have you whistling and singing along pretty quickly. But it’s unequivocally punk rock. And good punk rock at that. "

TJ Cabot Moncton, New Brunswick

In April 2020, well-intentioned traitor to his hometown of Millville, TJ Cabot, teamed up with various rigs, roy-olivers and rejects of the Boularderie Island Separatist Liberation Army to record a batch of campfire sing-a-longs and fight anthems to entertain and inspire the troops before the great St. Andrew's and Seal Island Bridge explosions. ... more
